Setting Up The
Messaging System
How to set up a
messaging system for
Immediate and
Free text and voice messaging
completely Spam-Free
How This Will
Benefit You
By following these simple steps and without the need to buy
any additional software, you will be able to:
- Send and receive text messages and files in real time to
anyone similarly set up. This is a Real-Time private 'Chat'
system.
- Have real time conversations just like a telephone call.
Speak to anyone around the world for as long as you
like for
FREE. (Assuming they are
similarly set up.)
- You will have another great selling point for your website
- You will have a direct route to contact me for help and
support
And all this is done over the Internet without any call
charges, except your Internet connection costs.
Unsolicited messages as sent by email (Spamming) will not
happen with this system.

Why I Have Created this Web
Page Hot Selling Point for Affiliate Website
Company Websites
I will be producing a 'Sales Page' promoting this service which
will feature in future Affiliate Website Company websites. Of
course that page can be added to your existing website also.
The selling points will be the advantages of free messaging as
explained above above plus the 'Live Help' feature for Site
Owners.
I am sure this feature will help to make the new websites
irresistible to new prospects.
Why I put the this page here and not on the individual
websites
You can, of course talk to anyone who is set up with this
messenger service.
However I do not want to have this screen on general display to
the public at large because it will detract from the value of the
feature as promoted on the websites.
I want prospects to view this messenger service as a positive
feature when considering a website purchase.
That is why I do not want to give away the information on this
web page to anyone other than Affiliate Website Company Site
Owners and would ask that you similarly be restrained in divulging
this information too liberally.

4. Texting To Alan Brown
In the MSN Messenger window you will see Alan Brown's email
address. This later changes to display his name.
You can only contact Alan if his status is
set to Online. If Alan Brown's status is set to Online then
double-click his name in the MSN messenger window.
A new window will pop up with two large white boxes. This is
called the Conversation Box.
The top box
is where the chat text is displayed, the lower box is where you
will type and send your text to Alan. If for instance you want to
say "hello Alan, how are you?" simply type that into the lower
white box and push the send button. Alternatively you can push the
Enter key on your keyboard.
You will now see the text in the upper white box, Alan Brown
should now receive your message immediately and reply to you shortly.

5. Talk Using A Microphone And
Speakers To do this you need your PC set up with a
microphone and speakers. A headset is better and also a fast
Internet connection. If Alan Brown is online and you have
successfully been chatting to him using text, you can request to use audio
instead of text. At the top of the Conversation Box there is a
large button called "Audio". One press of the button will send
your request to use audio with Alan. If successful, you will
eventually hear Alan's voice, this is just like a phone call,
except you do not pay anything because the system uses the
Internet. You simply then talk into the microphone and continue
with your conversation as though Alan was sitting next to you.

Group Conferencing
The system is not limited to two-person
conversations.
Several people can get in on one call. This would be handy for
example, if a customer asked a question of his/her referring Site
Owner and the Site Owner doesn't know the full answer.
Instead of the Site Owner asking me and then separately relaying
the answer to the customer, both customer and Site Owner could get
on a conference call to me, saving time and increasing
communication.
|
|
The Role of the Site Owner
You, as a site owner have a role to play in
supporting your customers.
I would expect Your customers will be looking to You as the first
port of call if help is needed. If you, the Site Owner can't
answer the customer's query, then by all means get on a conference
call to me, as explained above.
It would be impossible for me to continue to give personal
attention to dozens of incoming calls which may happen if
customers always contacted myself first without trying their
sponsoring Site Owner.
I'm sure that people will use the system responsibly and not swamp
me with unnecessary calls or messages.

Practical Tips
Because chatting is in real time, you must take account of world
time zones.
I am usually available from 0800 to 1800hrs GMT.
See World Time Zones for more
information and the best time to call me.
If you wish to make sure I'm available to talk to you it may be an
idea to schedule a conversation. This could be done by email for
example if I'm not online at the time.
It would also help if you could organize your
thoughts and questions in the form of bullet-points before
calling.
